We are pleased and proud to announce that Massimo De Nigris has joined the Optimum team as our new Business Development Manager for Northern GTA.
Here’s more about Massimo in his own words…
What steps in your career led to your new position at Optimum?
I have had the pleasure of working all sides of the business; from direct to client with the banks, to the lender standpoint direct with mortgage brokers; as well as most recently as a mortgage agent/underwriter. My forte and preference has always been with the mortgage broker community so I decided to make my return to the lending side.
Why did you decide to join the Optimum team?
Quite simply opportunity. I am confident that Optimum has potential, thanks to a great sales and underwriting team, to make an impact in this ever changing market. Their common sense approach to lending coupled with the exceptional customer service will help me grow within the company for years to come.
Based on your experience, what do brokers look for in a lender?
First and foremost partnership. Product lines across lenders are very similar. The difference-maker is the relationships. The confidence to know that your business partner wants to help you succeed in every facet is a big plus for a broker. I pride myself on providing the best customer service. Whether it’s a simple call to say “Hey I received your deal, thank you” or a quick decision on a deal - mortgage brokers want to provide the best service to their clients and referral partners. I have to look at myself as an extension of their business.
As the new BDM in Northern GTA, what can your brokers look forward to?
Consistency. It’s not a new territory. So it’s important to ensure that the brokers will receive the same consistent service and support that they have grown accustomed to thanks to the great service of their current BDM at Optimum.
What is something that your brokers would be surprised to know about you?
As I have forged a lot of friendships over the years with brokers, I have shared a lot with them personally so there isn’t too much to be surprised about.
