Welcome Chris Bullin BDM for Manitoba and Saskatchewan

We are pleased and proud to announce that Chris Bullin has joined the Optimum team as our new Business Development Manager for Saskatchewan & Manitoba.

Here’s more about (name) in his own words…

What steps in your career led to your new position at Optimum?
Worked with HSBC for 14 years on the B lending side then became a Mortgage broker with TMG and I missed the Alternative lending world!

Why did you decide to join the Optimum team?
Optimum has the reputation of being a great company to work for and deal with on the broker side, it’s an organization I could see myself being with long term.

Based on your experience, what do brokers look for in a lender?
Someone that they can communicate with and they trust are looking to make a deal fit.

As the new BDM in Sask/MB, what can your brokers look forward to?
I will always be open to discuss and find any way we can make a deal work. As a broker sometimes its hard to understand why a deal is being turndown I’ll make sure we have good communication thru all steps of the underwriting and lending process.

What is something that your brokers would be surprised to know about you?
I took adult learn-to-swim classes, I'm a chicken around water!

What is your favourite type of cuisine and why?
Mexican – if I’m eating it that means I’m on vacation

Big time outdoors guys - I love getting outside!

Anywhere south makes me happy

What is one skill you wish you had but you don’t?
I'd like to be able to speak more than one language

If money were no object, what would you splurge on?
Our cabin would be awesome!
