A message from Lester Shore
I wanted to take a moment of your time to make an announcement. As some of you may have heard, I will be expanding my responsibilities within the bank as the Senior Vice President & Regional General Manager, Alberta North Branches.
A lot of you know me as the face of CWB Optimum Mortgage, and that is because I believe in the importance of the broker channel. But what you don’t see is the team behind the scenes who make it all work. Putting a great team in place has allowed me to step away from the day-to-day and see the big picture. My new role will empower me to act on the observations I’ve made to better support and service the broker network, which will allow CWB Financial Group to continue its success. Although you will see less of me, please know I will always be advocating and exploring how CWB can bring more value to the broker market.
In finding my successor, it was our priority to find the best individual to lead while still maintaining a stable and effective organization. Our senior leadership team had a few key characteristics we wanted to find in our new VP. These included an entrepreneurial spirit, a strategic thinker, someone who believes in the value of the broker market, and most importantly, someone who would live and breathe all that is the Optimum culture both internally and externally. Finding someone who exemplified these features was top of mind for me to ensure it would remain business as usual at Optimum.
With these characteristics in mind, it is my great pleasure to announce that Rejean Roberge has been promoted to Vice President of CWB Optimum Mortgage effective November 1, 2017. In this role, Rejean will lead the team at CWB Optimum Mortgage to further success in supporting CWB Financial Group's strategic plan and vision. The Optimum team consists of over 100 employees across Canada.
For those of you who haven’t had the chance to meet Rejean yet, she joined Optimum in May of 2011 as Optimum's Marketing Manager and has consistently maintained a standard that is a model for our entire team. You may have met Rejean during office visits with your BDM, or at industry events in her most recent role as Director, National Sales & Marketing. It is her strong work ethic, exceptional level of performance, and entrepreneurial spirit exemplified during her time with Optimum that earned her the promotion to Vice President.
Thank you for your partnership and business over the last 13 years. It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of this vibrant and successful team. Please join me in congratulating Rejean on her well-deserved promotion. I look forward to continuing to work with Rejean and the incredible group at CWB Optimum Mortgage as they grow the business even further, and I have the utmost confidence in our team to provide the service you’ve come to know and love over the years.
