Service disruption to Canada Post mail delivery
What you need to know
Canada Post mail service resumed on December 17, 2024. However, we anticipate mail delivery will be slower than normal due to increased volume. As a result, mail deliveries to and from CWB Optimum may be delayed. This includes mortgage renewal documents, paper bank statements, new or replacement debit cards, and other notices. We are committed to keeping you informed as we learn more.
What you need to know:
Debit card issuance
If you are expecting a new or replacement debit card in the mail, it may be delayed due to the service disruption. Please contact us for more information.
Payments
During the mail service disruption, you should continue making payments by the due date. Payments can be made at your local CWB banking centre. If you do not reside near a CWB banking centre, please contact Optimum Customer Service to discuss alternative payment options. Click on “Contact us” below for details about how to reach us. During the mail disruption, we encourage you to avoid sending any payments or other important documents to us by mail as we may not receive them in time.
